LIGHTHOUSE STUDIO

CREATIVE, PURPOSEFUL & SUSTAINABLE LEADERSHIP

MY STORY

I’VE NEVER BEEN ONE TO SETTLE

FOR THE SAFE HARBOUR

For nearly fifteen years I worked as an architect in South America and London, solving complex problems in concrete and steel. Alongside that work I was navigating my own open waters. Living in four countries, I learned to cross cultural, mental, and physical barriers. These experiences sharpened my creativity, broadened my perspective, and deepened my awareness of how people live and lead.

Over time the architectural practices I worked in, and the way they were run, drifted from my values. I chose to redirect my craft toward people. I retrained as a coach to support leaders in creating from purpose rather than fear, with creativity at the centre. That journey was shaped by my own experience of burnout and recovery from M.E., which taught me that strong leadership begins within: knowing your values, seeing clearly under pressure, and changing course when the old map no longer fits.

That is why I created Lighthouse Studio, my personal practice. I chose the word Studio because of my design background. A studio is where ideas are tested, creativity thrives, and something new is shaped with imagination and craft. That is the spirit I bring into leadership coaching.

Today I work with leaders across the world to lead with purpose, think creatively, and build cultures that are resilient and sustainable. For those at a personal crossroads, I help navigate the shift into a new chapter, whether stepping into greater leadership or preparing for life beyond the helm.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Leadership starts from who you are. It shapes how you decide, relate, and perform

At the heart of my philosophy is a belief I return to again and again. Leadership is not about becoming someone else. It is about returning home to who you truly are beneath the fears, confusion, and conditioning, and finding clarity in your own North Star.

My work rests on three anchors. They are steady points that hold you true in changing tides:

  • Purpose. Purpose is your North Star. It focuses attention, speeds decisions, inspires motivation, and aligns teams, especially when the waters are choppy.

  • Creativity. Creativity is the wind in your sails. It fuels the imagination to see beyond the obvious, adapt to change, and innovate, turning uncertainty into possibility.

  • Sustainability. Sustainability is the ballast that keeps you steady. It means designing ways of working that renew energy, protect resources, and build trust so that wellbeing and performance can thrive together.

Together these anchors create leadership that is clear, relevant, and enduring. Leadership that can navigate uncertainty and leave a positive legacy.
